D\u2019abord tol\u00e9r\u00e9 par les colonisateurs, le vodou fut ensuite interdit par le Code noir. L\u2019une des fa\u00e7ons d\u2019assurer sa p\u00e9rennit\u00e9 a donc \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019inclure le culte des saints catholiques et l\u2019existence de Dieu au sein des rites ou bien de pratiquer
